23.6 MEGA.mini: A Universal Generative AI Processor with a New Big/Little Core Architecture for NPU

We're looking for Highly Motivated Students

Grades during an undergraduate degree do not represent all your potential.

We're looking for students with a passion for research and students who do not fear learning new things.​

Our lab gives high priority to the students who have the following skills or conditions.

  1. Students who are interested in digital circuits, computer architecture, hardware-friendly algorithms, and AI.

  2. Students who do not fear learning new things.

  3. Students who are interested in the Integrated Ph. D program.

If you have the following skills, it is useful to adapt in our laboratory. (Not necessary)

  1. Logic circuit, basics of digital circuit and systems.

  2. Computer architecture such as ISA, pipeline, and cache.

  3. AI knowledge (Deep learning) such as MLP, CNN, and transformer with PyTorch programming.

  4. Basic programming language for digital circuit design: C/C++, Python, Matlab, Verilog.

  5. FPGA programming and execution.

 

Usually, 1 student in the fall and 2 students in the spring are joined annually.
